Throwback to this years Retreat in Waischenfeld
From the 14th to the 15th of September, our fifth cohort met with the iImmune professors and our external scientific advisory board in Waischenfeld in the beautiful Franconian Switzerland to recapitulate the first two semesters of the master program and to listen to interesting presentations by the advisory board members and students from previous cohorts.
During their stay, our students had the opportunity to get to know the advisory board, to network with them and to share their opinions and wishes for the iImmune master program at FAU in small group discussions. In addition to interesting research and careers talks, the advisors also informed our students about career options and future job opportunities in the scientific field.
To round off the scientific program and the talks given by students and advisors, everyone was invited to join a hike to Rabenstein Castle. Afterwards, the day was brought to a close with a barbecue dinner and a social get-together in the evening.
We thank our students, professors, guest speakers and advisors for this successful and exciting meet-up and we look forword to a further great scientific year of immunological research and education.
