The iImmune students Rudolfo Karl and Franka Witthauer contributed with their work to the publication of a recent paper on the topic of vaccine strategies against SARS-CoV-2. The published data show that immunizations with diverse sarbecovirus receptor-binding domains elicit SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies against a conserved site of vulnerability. The researchers from Sidney, Canberra and Erlangen published their data at the end of October in the renowned scientific journal Immunity with the title „Immunizations with diverse sarbecovirus receptor-binding domains elicit SARS-CoV-2 neutralzing antibodies against a conserved site of vulnerability“.
